Intymen Canterbury Brief

Has an underwear manufacturer finally reproduced the 80's pants of the past? Searching around the internet I found these by Intymen and I have to say I'm quite excited at what I've seen! I've been saying for ages that I wish an undies manufacturer would take the plunge and recreate the fabrics and patterns of the 80's as I've always thought they were so colourful and comfy!

Well ... has my wish been granted, are these what I've been hoping for, they certainly look the part.

OK the style may not be as I used to wear back then as these seem to have a separate sewn in front pouch. Plus the back has seems sewn in to accentuate the rear, but the patterns are certainly a throw back from those times, even the paisley reproduction of the 80's style.

I'm not entirely sure all these briefs actually come under the name of 'The Canterbury series of products', as only the Red pair seems to mention this name, but as they all look like they are from that series, that's what I'll refer to them as.

Are these what I've been hoping for?

Intymen say that the incredibly soft fabric will make you not want to take them off which by the way is made up of a mixture of 94% Polyester and 6% Spandex, again seeing the word polyester makes me think they are just like 80's pants ;0)

Intymen are offering these bad boys in a Brief and a Jockstrap as well as a Thong and the boring trunks. The choice of colours are, Red or "Canterbury" version that'll keep you staring at the semi-psychedelic print all day. The Old-fashioned 'Antique' Brown print, which to me is 'Paisley'. A Blue version (pictured here), Inspired by the Caribbean waters off the coast of Colombia called 'Blue Sand', an Orange option referred to as 'Jungle'. A purple, called 'Peacock' and lastly a pink version called ... 'Pinky'!

Luckily I've found them all on a website here in the UK, so an order for the Antique and Jungle has been placed.
