History
Originally the website started off as a purely blog based website using 'blogspot in 2009 and then we launched a full 'social community' based website in 2012.
I seriously can not believe how the site has taken off, more so since we added the 'social community'. I find it unbelievable just how many of us there are out there, or as I've affectionately christened our members... 'briefs-ters'.
My 'obsession' with mens underwear and especial briefs and jockstraps or whatever you want to call it started way back when I was around the age of seven, maybe even younger. All I remember back then was constantly flipping through the home catalogue pages until I came to the mens underwear section and then just staring at the guys in their briefs and thinking... WOW!
Virtually every guy wore briefs when I was younger. I remember eagerly waiting for 'PE' lessons (That's Physical Education here in the UK) to take a peek at what colours of underwear my fellow class mates were wearing. Most of the lads wore basic Y-fronts or A type of briefs, the major difference being the colours.
Mens underwear used to come in some great colours back then, Yellows, Blues, Purples all sorts and not to mention some great patterns and of course nylon and polyester!. Some were the same colour all over and some had contrasting waist and leg bands.

For years I've looked for a site that is dedicated to us 'briefs' lovers and I've never found one that is totally for us …. yes, there are some damn good underwear related websites out there, but nothing that is completely for us!
If like me you have a passion for briefs or maybe just prefer the support and comfort of briefs rather than the uncomfortable and let's face it the bloody ugly sight of boxers or boxer briefs, then you've come to the right place.
Doesn't matter what style you prefer... sports, hip, Low-rise, pouch, fly-front, A or Y-fronts, they're all as good as each other, (maybe some a little sexy than others) and let's not forget the good old Jockstrap and the almost forgotten speedo, then why not get involved and show them off!

I have said this over and over again, that I can NOT believe how briefsmania.com has become so popular in such a short space of time.
For a long time I was under the belief that I was one in a million for my passion for wearing briefs, but, oh how wrong I was!
It's fantastic and so satisfying to see how many blokes have the same fascination for preferring to wear briefs and sharing that enthusiasm with others, here on briefsmania.com.
